Dehradun pharmaceutical cluster (Uttarakhand)

Introduction
The Dehradun pharmaceutical industry cluster, known as ‘Pharma City’, is located about 25 kilometers from Dehradun in Selaqui industrial area. The units in the cluster are mainly engaged in production of allopathic formulations in various dosage forms such as tablets, capsules and liquid orals. Many units export their products. Most of the units procure ‘Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients’ (API) and carry out job work for larger pharmaceutical industries. There are about 52 pharmaceutical units in the cluster, most of them MSMEs.
