Mixed Industries, Mehsana (Gujarat)

Introduction

Mehsana hosts a cluster of about 100 ‘mixed’ engineering units. The cluster is spread within Mehsana and neighbouring Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) industrial estates. Mehsana is known as one of the largest providers of road construction equipment in the state. Units manufacturing plastic goods and road construction equipment constitute over 70% of all the units in the cluster. The cluster provides employment to about 4000 people.
