Vapi chemical cluster (Gujarat)

Introduction

The Vapi chemical cluster has over 300 large-scale and MSME units, of which about 277 units are presently operational. The majority of units (46%) produce dyes and pigments, followed by other chemicals (36%) and API/pharmaceuticals (18%). Almost all the units are located in the Phase-1,Phase-2 and Phase-3 industrial areas of Vapi; a few units are located in Sarigram.
