Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation (SSEF) is providing support to TERI for the project "Advancing Energy Efficiency in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) sector in India", which aims at energy efficiency improvement of MSME clusters through collation of cluster level energy consumption data and skilling shop floor technicians. The project has the following specific objectives:
a) Prepare energy profiles of 10 MSME clusters and share them with MSME stakeholders and policy makers. The clusters are:
- Agra foundry
- Coimbatore compressor
- Ghazipur brick manufacturing
- Gokak jaggery
- Indore dal mill
- Karnal rice mill
- Ludhiana brick manufacturing
- Pune rubber
- Rajkot auto components
- Surendranagar ceramics
b) Develop a training curriculum and modules for shop floor technicians, and conduct Training of Trainers (ToT) program in the Faridabad MSME cluster.
