Pali textiles cluster (Rajasthan)

Introduction
An important textile processing MSME cluster is located in Pali (Rajasthan). The development of the MSMEs was spurred by the establishment, in 1940, of a composite textile mill, Maharaja Shri Ummed Mills. Initially, the units processed only cotton fabric. Today, the units also process voile, poplin, polyester and polyester–cotton (PC) fabric.
